UPCOMING AUDITIONS for 110 Stories by Sarah Tuft. This deeply felt docudrama consists of numerous monologues from real people & first responders who were in Downtown New York on 9/11 and afterwards.

 

The play was originally performed by stars such as Billy Crudup, Cynthia Nixon, Samuel L. Jackson, Kathleen Turner, Ben Vereen, Ruby Dee, Susan Sarandon, etc. It was performed as a Concert Reading, and Tony Quinones and Steve Reazor will produce the show the same way with minimal blocking and a few added visuals such as slides. Since the lines will not need to be memorized and the play is very segmented, rehearsals will be minimal.

 

Also, if commuting is an issue, some rehearsals can be through online software such as Google Meet or Facebook.

Audition dates: Sunday, June 28th at 2pm AND Monday, June 29th at 7pm

Location: Friedens UCC at 337 Main St in Oley, PA

Rehearsals will likely be there as well, but we are open-minded.

Rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings starting Sunday July 19th

MANDATORY rehearsals: Monday, August 31st and Tuesday,  September 8th & Wednesday the 9th

 

Audition sides will be posted here by the end of May.

 

Video submissions will be accepted up until Friday, June 26th. Choose a monologue to record and email it to rcptheatre@gmail.com. We will email you a form to complete.

 

Performances: Friday and Saturday, September 11th & 12th, 7pm
